About Our Consumer Satisfaction Testing

VISBIO Co., Ltd. offers consumer satisfaction testing of products with target consumers, covering food products, dietary supplements, cosmetics and oral herbal products. Each test is carried out with 10-100 target consumers.

Consumer satisfaction testing is an observational study that collects data on each sensory attribute relevant to the specific product.

Each test includes study design and data collection from volunteers who have been screened and must be in good health. Relevant factors are recorded comprehensively so that the data reflect the product from the consumer’s perspective, which is highly valuable for developing the formulation, the product format and the overall characteristics of the product. Consumer satisfaction results matter at every stage, from product research and development to marketing, building brand reputation, increasing sales and improving products.

Clinical Research

Clinical research examines both the efficacy and the safety of a product comprehensively, based on actual use of the product by people in a real-world environment. It therefore gives the most realistic and reliable picture of a product’s effectiveness. For a clinical study to be effective, producing data that can genuinely be used and cited, it must be well designed, use an appropriate methodology, control all relevant variables (outcomes and confounding factors), be free from bias, including bias in the study design, and follow a reliable study process based on Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

For every clinical study we conduct, we design the study and define the methodology, the relevant factors, control factors, confounders, clinical outcomes and adverse events, and we design data collection to be specific to, and as well suited as possible to, each product. A credible clinical study that is accepted in the medical academic community must be well designed by people with expertise in medical research. This covers the disease or disorder concerned and how it develops, the pharmacological activity of the active ingredients, their mechanisms of action and possible adverse effects, the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties that influence their activity, and their current evidence-based medical uses. It also covers choosing a methodology suited to each product, selecting the primary clinical outcomes for efficacy testing, controlling and correcting for confounding factors, calculating the sample size and choosing statistical analyses suited to the type of data collected, as well as interpreting the results and drawing conclusions, which requires specialist knowledge to assess the analyzed data. All clinical research must follow Good Clinical Practice (GCP), the standard for good conduct in clinical research, and use study designs based on the ethical principles of human research in line with international standards.

Why Consumer Satisfaction Testing Matters

Consumer satisfaction results matter at every stage, from product research and development to marketing, building brand reputation, increasing sales and improving products.

Consumer feedback is one of the most essential and valuable kinds of information for manufacturers and brand owners. How consumers perceive a product, combined with their direct experience of actually using it, gives a better understanding of consumer and market needs and helps manufacturers and brand owners improve and develop products that match their target customers. Taking the test results, namely the opinions and suggestions of testers from the target consumer group, into account can help increase consumer satisfaction, boost sales, reduce product returns and reach target consumers more precisely.
